The 3 star Royal Westminster hotel in Menton appointed Michael Zander Architecture for the interior design, tender and site supervision of their 92 bedrooms and bathrooms. The renovation of the hotel, owned by Klesia Group and run by Vacances Bleu, is taking place over three years. MZA handed over the first tranche of 26 bedrooms in December 2013 after a short 6 week site period. The second tranche of the works took place in November/December 2014 and the final rooms will be renovated in November/December 2015. The reaction to the new bedrooms from the hotel’s guests has been extremely positive and the client has now appointed MZA for the renovation of the exteriors of the hotel and the replacement of the roof.
