Hotel Garibaldi Nice

The architectural design project was for the construction of a 4* boutique-hotel in the heart of Nice, located on the corner of the grand Place Garibaldi and rue Séguranne plunging down towards the Mediterranean. This project surface area of 4950m² included 108 rooms and suites, two restaurants, a bar, an indoor swimming pool, meeting and co-working spaces, a FabLab and two boutiques.

The Legendre Immobilier – MOB Hotel – MZA consortium was selected by the city of Nice to compete for this urban regeneration project.

Ivan Levieux

Architect DPLG

Ivan joined MZA in 2022 as a senior project architect. He has over 14 years’ experience in architecture, including 8 years as project architect and then head of agency in an architectural practice in Shanghai. His experience includes hotels, offices, retail, master planning and private residences. He is currently working on the major extension and renovation of hotel Le Mas Candille in Mougins.

Ivan is a native French speaker and speaks English and Mandarin.


Alice-Edmee Michalland

Architect DE

Alice joined MZA in 2020, working on the renovation of YouTube’s offices in Paris as well as on hotel Lily of the Valley. She is currently working on a major residential villa construction in Cannes.
Alice is bilingual in French, English and Italian.


Dorsaf Ennajah

Architect DE

Dorsaf joined MZA in 2022 and takes the role of assistant project architect for Hôtel Le Mas Candille, as well as for two luxury private residences.

Dorsaf is a native Tunisian and is bilingual in French.


Morgane Cruciata

Architect DE

Morgane joined MZA in 2022 and takes the role of assistant project architect for Hôtel Le Mas Candille as well as for various private residences.


Samantha Benon

Administration Manager

Samantha joined MZA in 2022. She has over 20 years’ experience in administration and operations in the hospitality business, including radio, events management, and the luxury cruise ship and yachting industry.
Samantha is bilingual in English and French.
