Le Mas Candille Restaurant, Mougins

After the successful creation in 2009 of 6 new suites for the 5 star hotel Le Mas Candille, in 2012 MZA carried out the architecture and interior design for the renovation of the hotel’s bar and Michelin starred restaurant. The design creates a harmony between the restaurant’s two rooms and draws on the hotel’s 18th century heritage with the creation of elegant wall panelling, a bespoke ceiling with a design of clouds taken from a work of Jean-Honoré Fragonard, and an eclectic collection of artworks and objets d’art.

The works were carried out in a very short 4 week timetable to coincide with the hotel’s annual closure.
