Steak ‘n’ Shake, Cannes

For their first installation in Europe Steak ‘n Shake appointed MZA for the complete fit out of their premium restaurant opposite the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. The project involved uniting three different premises into one restaurant and covered 3 floors, from cellar to first floor. It also involved creating a covered terrace, with a cantilevered roof covering 10m² on the public footpath.

The design created presents the visual identity of the brand in a very contemporary stylish setting, with crystallised glass ceramic panels, bespoke coloured backlit glass, mahogany walls and a ‘retro’ elevator.

The clients subsequently appointed MZA for a further restaurant in Marseille.
